The wine is racked every four months by gravity and the use of candle to detect sediment. Fining is done by egg whites. The process takes over two months as the raft of egg whites sink to the bottom of the vat. This is a very expensive technique, but it succeeds in giving Muga reds a distinctive velvety texture. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLovely pale pink colour, looking very elegant in the glass. On the nose it is full of fruity nuances, very intense and complex, with reminders of stone fruit such as apricots and lactic, pastry-shop notes.
