Better and Stronger and Evolving

Better and Stronger and Evolving

In July, we did our first Food & Wine Virtual Tasting, and it was a success! The interaction during the event was great and the feedback afterwards was even better than we could have imagined.  We had over 30 suggestions for food pairings and a definite willingness to have more “hands-on” in the cooking department (the final work at each person’s home in meal preparation).

We did our second Food & Wine Virtual tasting the beginning of August and people’s reaction was even better.  One of the things we realized was having two couples together sharing the food and wine made for a better experience for all of the participants.  The feedback was unanimous --everyone enjoyed the tasting pack and food and for those who had other couples join them the friends lingered for several more hours sharing everything.  This is exactly what I imagined when I thought of doing this.  It was one more way of creating a community event together around food and wine.

If you think this could be too complicated, do not fret.  All of the foods are portioned and prepped and ready for final cooking.  And, we give step-by-step instructions on how to cook everything. Plus, we jump on Instagram Live to walk you through the actual cooking and plating processes at least 15 minutes before the virtual tasting starts.

When we decided to add a meal, rather than just cheese and charcutier, to our Virtual Wine Tastings, we also moved the tastings to Friday evenings.  This way you can relax and not have to worry about getting up in the morning and going to work.  It also makes better sense when inviting friends to join you. It feels like we are all dining in the bistro again and creating this community.

In order to help make these Virtual Food & Wine Tastings even stronger, we invite you to join us.  A tasting pack is $150 for the three wines and food enough for one couple.  But if you invite another couple to join you, an additional food tasting pack brings the total to $215.  If you compare that to the cost of four people dining at a nice restaurant, I think you will agree it is very reasonable.  And, I am sure you will have a memorable time and enjoy 75 minutes or more with us.

Always looking for your feedback on ways to be better, including suggestions of foods, wines and more!

Best

Bryan
