Connecting in the Digital World
Share
One of the great things about the OWS shop in Oakton was the ability to have face-to-face conversations, break bread or share a glass of wine together. In the digital world that is not easy to accomplish.
How do we better communicate with you? Our use of email, our website, social media, in-person events and of course deliveries are all ways we can interact with you. The in-person events will be starting soon, but in the meantime we are working on better ways of communicating.
Soon, you will see a format change in our email communications to make them shorter and easier to read. Our biggest changes will occur in our marketing tools via social media – Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and Linkedin. Helping to lead these changes is Maggie Cimino. I have known Maggie and her family (they were “regulars” at OWS) for almost a decade. She is from the Oakton area and is graduating from Ole Miss in May. Maggie is already inspiring me with ideas on programming, events, wine classes and communication.
She has begun to rework our bios and soon you will notice changes in our postings as well. The idea is to be more interactive with you, our friends. Be on the lookout for Polls, Questions and “What did you drink last night?” We welcome your feedback, if you have any ideas or feedback please reach out to us via info@owswine.com.
