Feedback? Is it necessary???
Share
How often do we buy a product and we get an email from the company asking for feedback on what we purchased? Most of the time we delete or forget to leave the feedback. Now that I am running an online business, I better understanding how feedback helps the business do a better job with their product or service. As a result, I am now leaving feedback more and more.
When we had the brick-and-mortar storefront, there were various direct and indirect ways we received feedback about the products and services we offered. For example, we would get great direct feedback on a wine or food item via face-to-face conversations. We also got great indirect feedback in the aftermath of our various wine tastings. If some of the bins of wines being tasted were completely empty and others were completely full, that gave us great information. And, seeing customers smile while enjoying a meal or glass of wine sent very strong feedback.
We are always looking for ways to improve the products and services we offer and feedback can be extremely helpful. We have installed an app on our website which should be sending you an email asking for feedback on your purchases you have made from OWS. Whether it is a simple star rating or a comment or two, your feedback brings useful information of about a particular product to others.
So next time you make a purchase and receive a follow up email from us, please take a moment to leave feedback and put a smile on the next purchaser’s face.
