Chateau Rauzan-Segla, located in the prestige appellation of Margaux, France. Was founded in the mid 17th century, and owned by Pierre de Mesures de Rauzan. Classified as a second growth in the 1855 Classification system, when it was owned the Durand-Dasier family. It passed through two families from 1903 until 1994 when it was sold to Wertheimer family of Chanel.
The Ch. Rauzan-Segla 2015, is impressive bottle of wine, from its release until now the development has been incredible. Dark rip cherries, plum, cassis, leather, tobacco, black currant, macerated red fruits, inky, supple tannins and balanced acidity. Blend of 63% Cabernet, 33% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc. Drink now – 2035.
