Dobbes Assemblage Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Oregon 2022

It all started in 2002 when their founder, Joe Dobbes, harvested Dobbes Family Estate’s first vintage. From the beginning, Dobbes Family Estate has been dedicated to consistently crafting wines that exude the best of Oregon, including traditionally made Burgundian-inspired Pinot Noir and other unique varietals from other lesser-known appellations, such as the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon.

Aromas of fresh strawberry and Bing cherry are accented with floral red currant, subtle oak spice and earthy mushroom. The palate opens with elegant tannins and medium body supported by juicy acidity that carries the medium-length finish. Flavors are similar to the aroma, highlighting cherry and pomegranate notes with added complexity of vanilla and baking spice. Moderate new oak influence ensures that classic pinot noir fruit characteristics shine through, balanced with the elegance and finesse.
