Michel Magnien represents the fourth generation of wine growers of the Magnien family. From a very young age, he worked on the vineyard of his father, Bernard Magnien (third generation) owner of 4 hectares of vines. The Domaine is an 18-hectare vine Estate located on the Côte de Nuits and spilt into 23 appellations of Grands Crus, Premiers Crus, Villages and AOC Régionales.
Coteaux Bourguignons is the new appellation of the Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire wine since the 2011 vintage, refering to the famous hills of Burgundy. In order to extract the best of the Côte de Nuits terroir, our Bourgogne Coteaux Bourguignons is exclusively elaborated with Pinot Noir variety.
A beautiful Pinot Noir, which delivers a elegant nose of strawberries, raspberries and red currant. On the plate notes of red fruits paired with a touch of earthiness, richness and elegance. Harmonious acidity and tannins make this a well structured wine which will age for several years.
