One of my favorite wineries in Napa Valley. The Three Palms Merlot is an iconic Merlot, the vineyard is located near Calistoga, with lean soils which make the vines dig deep for nutrients. Again, one of the first wines I ever tasted and it is the benchmark I still use today to measure all Merlots. Layers of dark fruits, cassis, leather, minerality, structure, tannins and balance. If you are a Pinot Noir lover because of the movie "Sideways" then you need to drink this wine and you will say "I will now drink F'ing Merlot!"
