The 2017 is a stunning vintage. With almost 5 years of bottle age this wine is becoming more smooth and layers of complexity coming through. While you still get much of the same flavors in the wine as you did when the wine was released, the nose is bubbling with exotic notes of coffee beans, dark fruits, slate, spice and chocolate which continue on to the palate. The savory notes and the minerality are integrating nicely.
