“I grew up with wine in my blood. Some of my earliest memories surround family, wine and being with my dad in the cellar. I hope to pass that imbued knowledge on to my own children and grandchildren.” - Chris Figgins
FIGGINS was born from “the site” — Planting to the proper varietals, placement within the vineyard, trellising, and hundreds of other decisions that go into winegrowing with the ultimate goal — To elevate “the site” through the wine.
Tasting Notes: Very dark crimson color. The bouquet opens with baking spices, cinnamon, ripe boysenberries, and follows with more subtle aromas of cranberry sauce and menthol. A wine of dimension that starts off with a sultry softness and expands into a full-bodied structure with rich notes of warm raspberry cobbler. The finish is silky, balanced, and full. Incredibly approachable today.
