Tasting Notes:

A very pleasant wine. Bright, clear red colour. Aromas are surprising in their intensity and fruit. On the palate, a tender, supple, graceful, round body. Very flavourful in the aftertaste, with a hint of blackberry jam. When the wine gets older, wild blackberry is the dominant aroma.

Pairing Notes:

Pairs wonderfully with rustic French dishes like Boeuf Bourguignon or Coq au Vin, roast poultry (especially with sage stuffing), duck, pork, or strong fish like salmon, also complementing charcuterie, earthy mushrooms, and soft cheeses due to its fruity (blackberry, cherry, raspberry) yet earthy (truffle, undergrowth) notes and supple texture.
