The heart of the winery in the Langhe
La Biòca is a small winery in the Langhe. We are located near to Serralunga d'Alba, where we take care of the production, vinification, ageing and sale of the wine, and also where our agritourism is situated. We have 8 ha and we only use grapes from our vineyards located in the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba, Novello, La Morra and Barbaresco.
Tasting Notes: Notes of lemon pith, bananas, apples and toasted coconut on the nose carryover to the palate where fresh peaches, apricot, citrus cream, touch of oak. Balanced acidity make this the perfect food wine.
Pairing Notes: Crab cakes, shellfish, grilled pork chops, 24 month Parmesan Cheese
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
