The heart of the winery in the Langhe
La Biòca is a small winery in the Langhe. We are located near to Serralunga d'Alba, where we take care of the production, vinification, ageing and sale of the wine, and also where our agritourism is situated. We have 8 ha and we only use grapes from our vineyards located in the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba, Novello, La Morra and Barbaresco.
Tasting Notes: Light ruby in color, redberry notes on the nose with a hint of rose petals. Medium bodied on the palate, with notes of strawberry, rhubarb, cherry, plum, white pepper. Acidity and tannins are balanced
Pairing Notes: lobster rolls, goat cheese, strawberry-rhubarb gelato, cheeseburgers
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
