The grapes come from vineyards of the Lagarina Valley south of Trento and northeast of Lake Garda. The valley’s privileged position as the hub of warm air currents from the lake and cold ones from the Dolomites. The grapes are handpicked and placed in small crates so as to preserve their integrity and quality, then de-stemmed and soft-pressed. The juice is clarified by natural sedimentation.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow in color with delicate aromas of pear, tropical fruit and spice confirmed on an elegant, fresh and persistent palate.
Pairing Notes: Chicken Waldorf Sandwiches, Crab Cakes, Cypress Grove Purple Haze Cheese
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
