Elisabetta Fagiuoli is a friend of ours who makes seriously delicious wines in Tuscany. On her last visit to the Bistro in 2019, she stopped the luncheon to come back to the kitchen and bring me out to tell me and everyone at the luncheon how great the sauce on her pasta was, to this day a huge compliment me as a chef.
Made from the four traditional Chianti varieties - Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano, Malvasia. Bright ruby red in color, with violet and rose notes, leading to a bright red fruity wine which is easy to drink and the perfect pairing for your next meal of pizza, pasta, or bbq.
