Orin Swift Palermo Cabernet Napa Valley California 2022

Palermo is their ode to the ubiquitos Cabernet Sauvigon from Napa Valley and continues the tradition of being a representative of the entire region.  A portrayal of pf the patchwork of different vineyards and unique AVA's and regional microclimates.  Sourcing across the Napa Valley allows them to produce a Cabernet of varying styles dark and concentrated lots mixed with savory lots and once married together they show off the character of Napa Valley.

A dark garnet core with a brooding cardinal rim, the-2022 Palermo-opens with notes of crunchy cassis, muddled boysenberry, ripe elderberry chapparal and cedar. The palate continues many of the aromatics with traces of cassis, blackberry, savory and thyme. Effuse with ripe dark fruits but also complex savory tones, the wine closes with long and soft tannin chains and hints of licorice, black pepper and star anise.
