Brett-Elle Oude Geuze is an oude geuze bottled and released by Lambiek Fabriek.
The name "Brett-Elle" is a combination of two words. "Brett" because of the "Brettanomyces" yeast, and "Elle" because Lambiek Fabriek is located near "Bruxelles" (or Brussels). It also refers to the French word for "suspenders", being "bretelles".
Brett-Elle Oude Geuze (ABV 6.3%) from Lambiek Fabriek is a traditional blend of spontaneously fermented lambics of different vintages, matured in oak barrels.
Golden in color, it offers a funky Brettanomyces aroma and tart flavors of citrus and green apple. Bottle aging will develop its complexity.
