The Pacific Northwest’s diverse microclimates, soil types, and conditions make it a prime location for growing a variety of wines, from Pinot Noir in the cooler Willamette Valley to Cabernet and Syrah in the warmer Columbia Valley. The wines from Oregon and Washington are as unique and varied as the region itself.
Tasting Notes: A rich Columbia Valley Cab, boasting layers of boysenberry, huckleberry, cigar box, baking chocolate, and melting tannins.
Pairing Notes: Bacon Cheeseburger, Steak, Aged Cheddar
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
