Founded in 1924 in Haro, Rioja Alta, by Ramón Bilbao Murga, Bodegas Ramón Bilbao is a historic Spanish winery renowned for pioneering aging techniques. Acquired by the Zamora Company in 1999, it transitioned to a modern, fruit-forward style under winemaker Rodolfo Bastida. Today, it is recognized for high-altitude wines, innovations in Rueda (white wines), and a century-long dedication to quality.
Straw-yellow wine with greenish reflections, of medium intensity. It is a clean and bright wine with a teardrop appearance.
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
