The Delamare Family story starts 25 years ago when they embarked on a journey to raise a family and connect the the land on a farm. Beginning in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California to cut their teeth on winemaking at now the Savannah Channel Vineyards. Along this journey they made their way to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Where in 1998 they took over the Glenway Farm in Rappahannock County. Still to this day family owned and operated.
A classic barrel fermented and aged Chardonnay. This wine aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, while undergoing a malolactic fermentation with regular stirrling of the fermentation lees, to develop richness and depth. Aromas of lemon, toasted almond, and brioche. Flavors of lime, creme brulee and apple blossom.
