Andrew Jones is one of our favorite winemakers on the west coast.  He started his career planting vineyards throughout the west coast and has a great sense of which varietals will work with each site.  He has a vision of making great wines at great prices.  His Field  Recordings line is a great example of a wide variety of wines under $30.  His wines are playful yet serious, bold with restraint and most importantly balanced.

The Rhino Cabernet is no exception, the vision for this wine comes from making a Cabernet that is full bodied, well balanced, and for under $20.  Finding wines which are young, accessible, and excellent value is one of our key values.  The red fruits flow from the bottle filling the glass giving a rich aromatic notes.  The red fruits mix with chocolate, baking spices and tobacco notes to round out the palate.  The supple tannins and balanced acid make this wine a which can become your everyday red.
