Robert Mondavi was one of the leaders who put Napa Valley on the map. His tireless efforts to showcase the valley, the wines, the people is what made him a visionary. The Napa Valley Cabernet is their entry level wine, which has evolved over the years and is age worthy. On a visit several years ago we tasted the 1974 Napa Cabernet and it was so elegant at 44 years of age. The current vintages are classic style of Napa Cabernets and great to share with friends and a big steak!
