A gem in the heart of Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards is now in its fourth decade of crafting estate-grown, produced, and bottled luxury wines.
Silverado Vineyard was one of the first four wineries in the Stags Leap District to plant Cabernet in the 1960s. With over 300 acres planted to vine, Silverado Vineyards spans some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated AVAs, including Miller Ranch in Yountville, Mt. George in Coombsville, Sunset Ranch in Carneros, and Soda Creek/Borreo Ranch within Napa Valley.
Today, under the ownership of Bill and Carol Foley and leadership of Courtney Foley, Silverado Vineyards continues to honor the founders’ legacy and vision to create the best wines possible from the beautiful Silverado Vineyards.
Tasting Notes: Citrus and tropical aromas and flavors such as orange, pineapple and canteloupe with a hint of dried herbs. Vibrant acidity provides a crisp and refreshing taste.
Pairing Notes: Scallops, Crab Cake, Chicken Salad Sandwich, Caprese Salad
If you like Gruners, you will certainly appreciate this one.
J. Christopher makes some amazing Pinot Noirs. This is but one of them. Strongly encourage others to sample what this winery produces.
If you have not tried a Ch. Musar, you are missing a great experience.
exceedingly average wine - I wasn't a fan of this one. If you like a watery, jammy pinot, this is it.
