The current Strauss winery has been in the family since 1810. The name "Strauss" first appears in the family chronicle in 1948, when Karl and Johanna Strauss took over the business, which their son Karl continued with his wife Juliane Strauss.
Their sons, Karl and Gustav, are now successfully working for the winery. While Karl takes care of sales and company logistics and his wife Sabine mainly takes care of sales and tastings on the farm, Gustav looks after the vineyards and is responsible for the winery.
Light yellow-green, intense, complex aroma with a very distinctive varietal character. The scent of lemons and vineyard peaches is reflected on the juicy palate with a harmonious acidity and residual sugar ratio.
