Vinedos de Ithaca Black Label Priorat Spain 2008

One of my favorite wines from Viñedos de Ithaca is the 2008 vintage.  It is fully developed and ready to drink now.  Powerful, dark inky in color, aromatics of stones, blackberry, blueberry, currant, baking spices and earthiness all well integrated together to form a perfect wine.  A wine to drink now and when comparing it to Silvia’s newer wines, you can see the same steady hand that created this wine in her new wines and why you can feel comfortable holding on to the younger wines from her new project En Numeros Vermells for several decades.
