Collection: Jean Michel Guillon Collection
We have been huge fans of Jean Michel Guillon wines since 1996 when we were first introduced to the wines by Olivier Daubresse of Vinifrance Imports. The quality of the wines was excellent then and have only improved since. Impeccably stored at the the Vinifrance Imports Warehouse since their arrival in the United States.
Born in Paris to parents with a military background, Jean-Michel Guillon chose to settle in mainland France after his service in the Polynesian Islands. He began his winemaking business in 1980 with 2.3 ha of land. Today, the estate covers 15 ha spread across more than 20 appellations. After 40 years of intoxicating passion, Jean-Michel will gradually hand over his place to his son Alexis.
Jean-Michel's eldest son, Alexis very quickly showed an interest in the vineyard and wanted to contribute to the family effort by joining his father at the estate. Alternating in BTS between 1999 and 2001 in a Chambolle Musigny estate then a few years later in Beaujolais and Pic Saint Loup, he represents, since his integration in 2001, the reference person within the family estate and a wise advisor.
There are many older vintages of these wines available please contact Bryan directly for more information and pricing.
