Ficaria Vins, Les Valls Garnaxta Blanca Spain 2017

The vineyards are located in Arenys de Lledo which is on the most eastern part of the province of Teruel, bordering the region of Terra Alta and Aragon. The area of Arenys de Lledo is considered a very holy place with lots of history dating back to the Templer.

Made from 100% Garnatxa Blanca, the vines are 35+ years of age with the oldest part of the vineyards are of 70+ years of age. The vineyards are made up of calcareous and clay/sandy terrain. The wine is to age the wine in amphora with a lees contact for 3 months.

Full of flavors peach, apple, wild honey, earth minerals, showing strong Mediterranean wild herbs.
