They have consistently innovates and passes on its expertise in the Appassimento method of wine making which has been practiced since the Ancient Romans.
The Masi Amarone Classico Riserva is an absolute monster of a wine. A blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Molinara, made in the traditional Appassimento technique of long period of further ripening on bamboo racks before the fruit is fermented and made into wine. Three years of cask ageing before bottling. Thick and deep ruby in color, leading to intense aromas of blueberries. On the palate massive berry fruit, hints of cocoa, cinnamon and baking spice notes. Full bodied and rich tannins yet balanced with excellent acidity. Drink now through 2035.
