Collection: Beauty is Burgundy

I have been a friend and cohort of Olivier Daubresse and Vinifrance Imports since he started the company in 1996. He opened my eyes to the beauty of Burgundy along with the intricacies of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.  One of my favorite memories from decades ago was tasting the 1976 (the year I was born) vintage of Domaine Rossignol Volnay and being absolutely dumbfounded at how great the wine tasted.  I had been led to believe the vintage was "garbage" and nothing good had been made that year.  But Olivier disproved that theory and taught me this: "Great wines do not only need a great harvest, but also a talented wine maker. And, with the perfect storage conditions a wine which has life will live a long time."  He was correct then and it holds true today.

Olivier has built one of the most impressive collections of Burgundies in one spot in the world.  Because of our very long relationship, he has opened the "gates to this perfectly stored collection of wines" for us to share with you.
